Big O's Texas BBQ is the culmination of a lifelong passion for authentic Texas barbecue, served with a side of Southern hospitality. Otis, the heart and soul behind Big O's, discovered his passion for barbecue as a young boy growing up in Dallas, Texas. Every time the family gathered for a barbecue, his mom would let him handle the grill, sparking a love for grilling and smoking meats that would follow him throughout his life. His commitment to creating the finest barbecue came from years of perfecting the craft, learning the art of slow-smoking meats, and mastering the balance of flavors. MAN MAN MAN!!!! If you want some of the best BBQ around, Big O's is the spot. From the Brisket to the Chicken to those enormous Texas Twinkies, they really know what they doing here in Waterford. The staff is ridiculously nice and helpful and the owner is very very hospitable just like the folks in Texas are. Love seeing them "Pop-Up" at local events and all around the community. And please please don't pass up on the Cornbread or the Peach Cobbler, you'll regret it!!

Everything was truly the taste of Texas, some of the best. The brisket was juicy and fool of smoke so tender a man with no teeth could eat it. And the brisket was a Texas size portion , it came with a bun on the side. The side was macaroni and cheese and was fool of flavor and a Texas size portion . My second side was a peach cobbler that reminds you of mom a texas size portion so sweet and juicy with a crust to boot. This was my first time I got it delivered and it was nice and hot on arrival. I'm from Dallas and this reminds me of BBQ I got as a kid in downtown Dallas . It came with no sauce but that what made me love it more. Amazing BBQ not over powered by the sauce. The peach cobbler was absolutely fantastic and will become a staple on my future orders. I was greeted right away by friendly faces and smiles when walking in and after placing my order the owner offered me a sample of their sausage, after trying it I immediately regretted not getting a side order of it as it was so delicious and juicy and the flavor blew me away. I was already recommending the place to friends before I left the parking lot. I got the brisket plate and it was very good but will definitely be going with the sausage as the main course next time. Great price for great fresh food can't wait to come back.

Join us Sunday, April 19th at 2PM for the Burlington Community Car Club Season Opener at Big O’s Texas BBQ. Car registration is $5, with early setup for booths and VIP parking beginning at 12:45PM. Registration at the door is $10, and booth registration is available.

Awards will be given for Best in Show, Best Import, and Best Classic. Spectators are free and can enjoy great BBQ, music, on-site bathrooms, and a family-friendly atmosphere (pets welcome!). Limited VIP parking is available, so be sure to arrive early.
