About Us

We’re Big O's Texas BBQ, and we’ve been a barbecue restaurant here in Waterford, WI, since 2021. We specialize in authentic Texas barbecue and culture, and we offer brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and much more, all smoked and seasoned to perfection. Our owner Otis fell in love with barbecue as a kid growing up in Dallas and he's been sharing his passion ever since. We’re looking forward to partnering with Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties to continue to offer a premier barbecue restaurant experience. We’d like to personally invite you to stop by to try our peach cobbler, today!

Where to begin... i will start by saying Otis, the owner definitely has Texas hospitality and an ease about him let's you know he would be a good friend. The staff was also on point, showing ambition and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I've traveled all over the US for work,and alot of time in Texas, usually in small towns close to big city's, I've had my share of bad BBQ and good, the good never comes from a fancy place that millions was spent to put you in a rustic setting. The good always comes from a place that has a pit outback that has more build of of smoke than the inside of a chimney during January. The money isn't spent on fancy tables or decor, it's spent on quality products, and in bbq, meat isn't cheap. Otis has done this, bringing his roots and traditional Texas Q with him to Wisconsin. The meat is well seasoned with a good amount of smoke flavor. First time here, will not be the last!

Less than a year ago, we had Big O’s for the first time and loved the BBQ. Whether it was the pulled pork, brisket, or amazing smoked sausage, everything was well made and reasonably priced. Seeing as we loved Big O’s food, we thought it may be a good choice for our wedding catering and personally talked with the owner to make this happen. Otis sat down with us and gave us his full attention in making the catering plan. We scheduled the date of the catering, and when the day finally came, Big O’s provided everything we could have asked for. From great service, promptness, large portions, cutlery, and obviously the great BBQ, we were so pleased with how everything turned out. Our guests loved the food and were talking about it for weeks to come.
